The structure of television can be divided into different parts, and goes through different stages before reaching the viewer. These stages are:
- Content creation: The stage where the TV show is in the process of being made, including pre-production, casting, filming, editing etc.
- Content Production: The stage where commissioning and funding of a TV show is carried out, by a company or studio.
- Content Aggregation: A packaging containing several different TV shows into one offer by a network or channel
- Service Offering: The marketing of multiple networks and channels to consumers, usually on a subscription basis
- Delivery: The transfer of TV content to the viewers.
